Too Blunt for You? That’s Your Problem, Not Mine.
Mean, Crass & Unprofessional? Good.
I’m not here to hold your hand, pat your back, or sprinkle sugar on the truth just to make it easier for you to swallow. If that makes me mean, crass, unprofessional, or too blunt for your delicate sensibilities, so be it.
Because here’s what I know: The people who get offended by honesty are usually the ones who need to hear it the most.
If You Want Change, You Have to Face the Truth.
This industry is full of people who want to feel good, but not enough who want to be good. They don’t want to hear that their skills are lacking, their business is failing, or their understanding of pet care is dangerously outdated. Instead, they cling to excuses, blame the market, or worse, act like they know it all.
And who suffers? The pets.
✔ The pet owners who don’t know better because no one educates them.
✔ The animals stuck in the hands of people who refuse to evolve.
✔ The groomers who actually care but get drowned out by the noise of mediocrity.
If honesty makes you uncomfortable, then you should ask yourself why.
Transparency Is the Key to Being a Pro.
You want to be the best in this industry? Then stop running from reality. Face it. Own it. Fix what needs fixing.
✔ Educate yourself, and then educate pet owners.
✔ Put the pet first, always. No exceptions, no shortcuts.
✔ Take accountability. If you’re not growing, it’s because you’re choosing not to.
I’m not here for the ones who want fluff and feel-good nonsense. I’m here for the ones who give a damn about doing better.
If That’s You, Welcome. If Not, There’s the Door.
